Emma McDonald, General Manager for Coast Tsawwassen Inn, won the Entrepreneur of the Year award on Wednesday, January 18 at the Coast Hotels Brand Conference. Coast Hotels chose Emma out of her peers based on her entrepreneurial spirit, exemplified in her ability to think outside of the box — more specifically creating a different revenue centre outside the four walls of the Coast Tsawwassen Inn.

One of the largest providers of office space in the world is opening a new co-working building in Gastown that the company hopes will tap into the rising number of freelancers and start-ups in Metro Vancouver.

In response to intense public interest in our Southlands development, Century Group has launched a new quarterly series of project updates aimed at keeping the public informed on what’s happening as the development unfolds.

Peter Yip will now lead the company’s hospitality division as Regional General Manager, after nearly eight years serving as General Manager for Coast Tsawwassen Inn, and Judi Pharand will take over his former position.

In this new position, Peter will be responsible for the operations of all Century Group owned hotel and restaurant assets, including Coast Tsawwassen Inn and Browns Socialhouse in Delta, and Civic Hotel at 3 Civic Plaza, Autograph Collection.

Ormidale Block wins CUI Brownie Award

 We can officially call our development project at 151 West Hastings the “award-winning Ormidale Block”.

Last Thursday night in Toronto, Ormidale Block won the REBUILD Award at the 2015 Brownie Awards. Presented by the Canadian Urban Institute, the Brownie Awards recognize leadership, innovation, and environmental sustainability in urban redevelopment projects across Canada.
