Century Group Lands Corporation is now seeking a full-time Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team.
This role will be based out of our Head Office in New Westminster, but occasional site visits will be required (Surrey, Langley, Tsawwassen).
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications, the Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist will play an integral role in collaborating on marketing strategies and executing plans to communicate with our customers, operators, employees and the public, ensuring that messaging is consistent and that initiatives are in alignment with CG’s corporate brands, overall plans and objectives.
In consultation with the Director, Corporate Communications, the SMCS plans, develops, contributes to, and implements proactive communication and marketing strategies in support of internal and external audience engagement around organizational projects and priorities.
With the Director, Corporate Communications, the SMCS identifies communication challenges or emerging issues and makes recommendations for improvements.
In collaboration with the Director, Corporate Communications, the SMCS will support departments and our operators with their respective communication and marketing objectives
Work with our Corporate Communications Coordinator to support the day-to-day function of the Communications department.
Work on assignments and support the Vice President, Corporate Services as needed.
Conducts market research, market surveys, and stakeholder feedback.
Research, write, and distribute original content across CG internal and external communication channels including print, websites, intranets and social media networks, promoting a consistent image and identity. In collaboration with the Communications Team, guides department team members by curating content as required and ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment.
Contributes to the overall goals of enhancing CG’s image and stature, engaging consumers in a broad range of CG initiatives, and increasing consumer reach to support the company’s strategic direction.
Develops proactive communication plans that support CG objectives by planning, and measuring outcomes.
In collaboration with the Director, Corporate Communications, manages placement for advertising campaigns and roll-outs.
In collaboration with the Communications Team, contributes to the development of a digital strategy to plan, manage and execute digital engagement opportunities, including social media.
Provides support to enhance and protect company reputation, including identifying and advocating the adoption of fresh approaches to employee and customer engagement.
Plays an active role in community marketing, including the coordination of community events and public consultation.
Increase brand awareness and keep brand integrity.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (communications, marketing, journalism), complemented by ten years of communications experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience in communication planning and executing campaigns.
Previous experience working in a real estate development environment is an asset.

Advanced computer skills in electronic communication technology, publishing and web-based communications.
Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Ability to travel to other work sites - Driver’s License (Class 5) required.
