Barbican Property Management is seeking a Property Administrator to join our team in Tsawwassen.
Reporting to the Senior Resident Manager in Tsawwassen, the Property Administrator’s (PA) primary responsibility is for the satisfactory day to day management of the three self storage buildings located in Tsawwassen, including all administration work. The PA will also work with the Tsawwassen Rental Office team in managing the residential apartment portfolio, primarily in an administrative role.
This position is part-time and does require a flexible schedule when coverage is required. The typical work week would be Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Renting (from phone inquiry to completing rental agreements), marketing and coordinating all aspects of the self storage portfolio
Maintain excellent tenant relations
Highly organized to ensure requested paperwork and forms are completed accurately and on-time, and formatted according to company standards.
Prepare a wide variety of documents based on information received from multiple sources. This includes thorough proofreading and may include making editorial suggestions.
Tenant correspondence, rent rolls, notices, reports, filing and any other requirements
Deals with outstanding arrears and past tenant accounts
Maintains up to date staff Manuals for policies and procedures
Assist the Revenue Property team whenever required, including holiday and sick day coverage.
Assist the residential team when required for all aspects of residential property management including but not limited to; answering phones and inquiries, showing suites, moving tenants in and out and collecting rents.
Entering all pertinent information into our software program (Yardi)
Follow company guidelines
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Our ideal candidate has at least two (2) years of a similar position, coupled with a Grade 12 education. Previous office experience is essential and good knowledge of Google and Residential Tenancy preferred.
