Surjit brings a blend of technical expertise and people-centred leadership to her role. She earned a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Psychology from De Montfort University in Leicester, UK, and holds both CPHR and SHRM-CP designations. Surjit began her career in the UK in IT support with AT&T Telecom and the British Airport Authority at Heathrow, before transitioning into HR with First West Credit Union in 2013.

In 2017, Surjit joined Century Group to lead HR Systems and soon stepped into the roles of HR Business Partner and Senior HR Partner. Today, she leads both HR and Payroll company-wide, supporting a large and diverse workforce. Surjit focuses on building strong teams, shaping clear and transparent processes, and ensuring people receive the support they need throughout their time with Century Group. She partners with leaders to strengthen workplace practices, foster consistency, and create positive employee experiences across the organization.

Outside of work, Surjit enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, meditating, and spending time with her two children and their animals.
