We believe young professionals are the future and therefore we jumped at the opportunity to be involved in Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Career Fair last week. Although we have participated in the Career Fair at their Surrey campus before, it was especially important for us to be a part of it this year, since our office recently moved to the area.

Our goal in attending was to raise the public profile of our company and our various business segments, since people in Surrey may not know who we are. Through fostering relationships in the Surrey community, we hope that students will keep us in mind when they graduate and are looking for employment opportunities. It’s also important to us to strengthen our partnership with KPU given that they will soon be one of our anchor tenants at 3 Civic Plaza, which is currently under construction in Surrey City Centre.

Although we didn’t have any positions that we were actively recruiting for at the Fair; with our variety of business divisions and projected growth, we anticipate having many opportunities available in the future.

We recognize that Kwantlen’s specialized programs produce tremendously high caliber candidates and appreciate the opportunity to make connections with students from a range of faculties.

We’re happy we were able to attend the Career Fair and consider this one of many steps to help increase our visibility in Surrey and grow our reputation as one of the best employers in the area.
