It was busy this summer at The Ridge in Nanaimo. Our general contractor, Westmark Construction, completed construction of the first group of 16 townhomes and we welcomed our first five groups of residents into their new homes. We have heard many great comments on our project from these homeowners. A number of them come from different parts of Canada such as Calgary, Winnipeg and Saskatoon; we even have a homeowner all the way from England! We are glad that they are now calling “One Oak” home and that they are very happy settling into the neighbourhood.

We are also pleased that builders Westmark Construction, Pheasant Hill, and Owen Gardiner have made great progress in completing their single-family homes at The Ridge. We released 19 single-family lots last year and partnered with these three local reputable builders. Each of them has committed to build a high-quality home to showcase their workmanship. These homes are now available for viewing and are listed on MLS.

Our sales and marketing agents Derek Gillette and Connie Hentschel are very busy with appointments showing potential buyers to the remaining townhomes and the newly listed single-family homes. We believe that The Ridge at Glen Oaks is the new hot spot in Nanaimo for real estate!

 To show our commitment to the city of Nanaimo, Century Group recently sponsored the Nanaimo Chamber Business Expo on 16 October at the Nanaimo Conference Centre. Century Group had a booth at the event, and we met face-to-face with hundreds of local business people. It was an excellent opportunity to generate awareness in Nanaimo, both for our company and for The Ridge.
