Laying the Foundation for Northgate, Century Group’s Mixed-use Project on 56th Street in Tsawwassen
After five months of site preparation, construction on Northgate — Century Group’s latest development at the corner of 56th Street and 18th Street in Tsawwassen — has entered a new phase. The first batch of concrete has now been placed, forming a portion of the foundation that will support the underground parkade for the neighbourhood. This first pour consisted of 900 cubic metres of concrete and took one full day to complete.
Northgate is a mixed-use development including townhomes, a retail and commercial office building, and a seniors’ independent living residence, all situated over a single level of underground parking.
