Through our partnership with the Surrey Urban Mission we learned about Homelessness Action Week, an annual event which focuses on bringing greater awareness and understanding to the issue of homelessness in the Greater Vancouver region. 

The goal of the campaign is to spread the word about homelessness through education, advocacy and online activity to raise awareness of this important subject that affects many communities, including Surrey.

To support SUM during this special week, we hosted a toiletry drive at our head office and donations were to be handed out to clients of SUM at an event held by the organizations, during this week. We are grateful to our staff for their generous donations as we filled 2 boxes with toiletries and socks to be distributed to members of SUM! 

We always enjoy working with SUM to give back in the community of Surrey and we look forward to collaborating with them more in the future.
