Browns Socialhouse participates in The Christmas Pajama Drive
Browns Socialhouse Tsawwassen, which is owned by Century Group, participated in The Christmas Pyjama Drive again this year. The Christmas Pajama Drive was started by Reece Shelly, who's dad owns and operates a number of other Browns Socialhouse franchises. He started collecting pajama's for underprivileged children back in 2010 and in the last three years this endeavor has grown exponentially.
Many schools now participate in this fundraiser, collecting pajamas from students and staff, but it has become tradition for other Browns locations to participate as well. Patrons are invited to donate new pajamas when they visit the restaurant and on December 8, 2013, customers who brought in pajama sets were given a 50% discount on their food bills. In Tsawwassen, we had great success with this fundraiser and the incredible generosity of our staff and customers impresses us every year.
In mid-December all of the pajamas collected are distributed to various Christmas Bureaus in the lower mainland.
