Almost 150 golfers and dozens of volunteers gathered on Thursday, June 18^th at Beach Grove Golf Club in Tsawwassen for a day of fun and festivity benefiting the Delta Hospital Foundation. This year Century Group committed to be the presenting sponsor of the event for the next five years and therefore this year the event was name The Century Group Delta Health Golf Classic.

Golfers had no shortage of entertainment throughout the day with on-hole games and activities, prize giveaways and delicious food. Century Group, Coast Tsawwassen Inn and Browns Socialhouse all hosted sponsored holes at the event, offering golfers an assortment of drinks and nibbles to keep them well fueled throughout the day.

This year the event raised a record amount of money with net proceeds reaching $201,000; surpassing last year’s total of $194,000. All funds raised will go towards the Delta Hospital Foundation’s expansion of Diagnostic Services – Medical Imaging and Laboratory Departments.

In addition to providing financial sponsorship, we also had over a dozen staff members volunteering at the event. All in all it was a great day for golfers and volunteers alike and and we look forward to being involved again next year.
